ATMs ready for biometrics
It should be common soon enough in Asia to use an ATM equipped with biometrics for identifying the customers. The Bank of Tokyo is currently using vein pattern recognition on the palm. It’s also being used by Suruga Bank, a smaller entity (they actually don’t charge their customers for the protection). Other banks hope to implement the technology very soon.
