AuthenTec’s AES2501 Enables Dual Authentication in OMNIKEY CardMan® 7121 Smart Card Reader for High-Security Data Access Control

MELBOURNE, Fla. & MUNICH, Germany–AuthenTec, the world’s leading provider of fingerprint authentication sensors and solutions, announced that its AES2501 fingerprint sensor is now being integrated into the new OMNIKEY CardMan® 7121 smart card reader. AuthenTec’s TruePrint® technology adds biometric authentication to this line of USB smart card readers tailored for logical access control in high-security business or government environments.
