Liska Biometry Receives FIPS-201 Approval for DCS5000 Image Capture Platforms and Middleware

DOVER, NH, June 01, 2007–Liska Biometry (OTCBB: LSKA), a leading provider of biometric identification solutions, today announced that it has recently received FIPS-201 approval from the US Federal Government for its suite of DCS5000 image capture platforms that use a standardized digital camera. Also, the Company has received FIPS approval for its Facial Recognition Middleware.

This follows the FIPS-201 approval of the DCS8000 platforms that the Company announced in April, which uses a “progressive scan,” customized video camera. Both suites are compliant with all FIPS standards and are also capable of producing International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) compliant portraits.

The specific items approved are: DCS5000S Camera with accompanying software; DCS5000SP Camera with accompanying software and custom portable photo booth; DCS5000SF Camera with accompanying software and custom Fixed Photo booth; and DCS5000SFR Camera with accompanying software, custom Fixed Photo booth, and Infrared lighting system.
