TrustBearer OpenID to support Finland National ID card

TrustBearer Labs will be providing support for the Finnish National Electronic Identification Card (FINEID) with its OpenID service. OpenID is an online authentication standard that allows a single username to be used with any websites that support OpenID. “National ID card holders can now securely and efficiently manage many of the things they do on the Internet using a central and secure identity,” says David Corcoran, Chief Executive Officer of TrustBearer Labs. [end] 

Ceelox has announced that it has developed a new solution for biometric-based login to cloud-based applications.

The solution, called Ceelox ID Online, utilizes their own fingerprint authentication in conjunction with OpenID protocol to allow for login to any of the accounts that OpenID services such as Facebook, Yahoo!, Google and many others.
