SecuGen picks AC Technology to distribute FIPS 201 readers
SecuGen Corp. has announced that it has chosen AC Technology Inc. as its primary GSA holder for the SecuGen Hamster IV and SecuDesktop(R) Pro line of FIPS 201 certified fingerprint scanners and software. The two companies have been working together on several biometric projects.
The move to place SecuGen’s FIPS 201 certified fingerprint scanners and software on the GSA Schedule was made to provide government buyers with access to SecuGen’s biometric products. More models will be added as the General Services Administration approves them. SecuGen’s Hamster IV is a fingerprint reader that has passed the FIPS 201/PIV certification.
