AAAE working with TSA on biometric credentials
AAAE’s Board of Directors has approved the Biometric Airport Security Identification Consortium, which was formed to work with TSA to define and implement development of biometric-based credentials at commercial service airports.
The AAAE does not want the TSA to mandate a single, nationwide credential for airports as many facilities are already working to improve credentialing systems and access control.
