The Republic of Mali in Western Africa has selected Sagem Sécurité to deploy a biometric based identity system for secure management of public records. The Czech Republic has extended the contract of Trüb for secure polycarbonate data pages with embedded chip for electronic passports. The cooperation with the Czech Republic began in 2006 with the supply of polycarbonate data pages with embedded chips implementing the basic access control standard.
