New qualified product list testing announced for TSA
The International Biometric Group has announced that it will begin testing for a new qualified product list for access control for the U.S. Transportation Security Administration.
Products that make it through IBG’s testing and are included on the list will then have the opportunity to potentially be implemented at any of a number of airports as the TSA in encouraging airports to implement new biometric security technology.
Product testing will include biometric enrollment stations and biometric readers that can be installed at airports as further security for access. ![[end]](/resources/bullet/secureidnews-4.gif)
