Daon, a provider of identity assurance software aimed at government and commercial organizations, has acquired the Physical Security Interlock software and pertinent personnel from Enterprise Air, a New York-based provider of security technology. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
The PSI software enables user’s to connect physical security systems to any administrative systems. Enterprise designed the system so that it will work with most security system products.
With PSI integrated into their own products, Daon will now be capable of distributing access and credential data from a central location to each of the access areas of a facility, applying Public Key Infrastructure into security systems and managing smart card data.
