SALTO wins two awards

Wednesday, January 28, 2009

SALTO Systems access control installations have won awards in the 2008 Building of the Year contest for the projects in Bulgaria at the Hotel Metropolitan-Sofia and the Park Hotel Pirin-Sandanski.

The Hotel Metropolitan-Sofia won the category for the best Business Hotel and the Park Hotel Pirin-Sandanski won the category for the best Holiday Hotel.

The installation of advanced access control systems in both hotels contributed to the award wins. The decision to embrace the latest in electronic security using contactless MIFARE smart cards allied to SALTO’s virtual network technology gave advantages of comfort and security to guests and control to management.

The Building of the Year awards ceremony, held at Sofia’s Ivan Vazov National Theatre, is sponsored and organised by Euromarket Construction and recognises excellence in the field of construction and architecture in Bulgaria. [end]
