Genetec, a provider of physical security, IP video surveillance, access control and license plate recognition systems, announced that it has partnered with HID Global to provide Fargo brand card printing products for Synergis, Genetec’s IP access control solution.

Genetec, an OEM development partner of HID Global, will now carry the HID Fargo brand’s full line of card printers and associated supplies and accessories. This will complement Genetec’s existing offering, which includes HID’s full line of Edge and VertX Network Access Control solutions, cards and readers.

Synergis is an enterprise class IP access control solution with a unified security interface that integrates access control, badge design and production, video surveillance, alarm management and visitor management, among other security functions. [end]
