AssureSign releases upgraded product

AssureSign LLC, a provider of electronic signature technology, released the latest offering of its AssureSign product, AssureSign v2.0.2. This new release offers a new features and options that enhance the management of the application as well as the customer experience when signing documents electronically.

Some of the new offerings include:


  • Certified Signature: AssureSign v2.0.2 introduces a certified signature alternative to its electronic signature technology, which visually distinguishes typed signatures from other typed data input areas created in the signature process. Printed metadata, including date and timestamp, IP address and unique document identification number, appears embedded around the signature data to authenticate the signature.

  • Customization and Branding: A signature-site customization tool enables account administrators to import custom logos or graphics, add custom messages and page header information, and embed links that will be displayed during the signing process.

  • Enhanced Integration: Settings that enable users to customize the default redirection URL upon signing step completion for tighter integration of the signing experience into their existing business process workflow.

  • Enhanced Forensics: Document creators have exposure to signatory IP addresses in document lifecycle reporting.

  • Improved License Management: Easier visibility and access to per-seat license settings, with online ability to request additional licenses.

  • Enhanced Security and Document Validation: An online document validation tool enables users with a document signed via AssureSign to validate its authenticity and confirm that the document has not been tampered with.

Neurotechnology announced that it has developed three versions of embedded solutions for Android-powered devices such as smart phones and tablets.

Specifically, Neurotechnology has ported its VeriFinger Embedded software development kit (SDK), which authenticates user identities via fingerprints, VeriLook Embedded SDK, which authenticates user identities via facial recognition, and MegaMatcher Embedded SDK, which authenticates user identities via both fingerprints and facial recognition. A version that utilizes iris recognition also is in the works.

Neurotechnology has announced the release of two new software development kits (SDKs) from their MegaMatcher line of offerings. The two new releases, MegaMatcher 4.2 and MegaMatcher On Card 3.0, both offer support for fingerprint, facial and iris recognition to be used either individually or as a multi-factor solution by Neurotechnology’s VeriFinger 6.4, VeriLook 5.1 and VeriEye identification engines, respectively.

Entrust Inc. has made enhancements to its Entrust Discovery digital certificate product by expanding search capabilities for digital certificates residing within Microsoft’s Cryptographic APIs and adding more than 25 basic or custom policy field alerts to ease certificate management.

Watchdata announced that its products have successfully passed certification standards for use by the Visa.

The TimeCOS-JV-S-T0-1 and the TimeCOS–JV–C–T0–1 are the two latest products by Watchdata to be certified by VISA and suitable for commercial use. The company’s expanded and upgraded sticker product, the Timecos/Fly TransWave v.10 has also passed standards for use by Visa.

CloudPassage has launched Halo NetSec, a firewall, two-factor authentication product that enables access to virtual servers in the public cloud.

As reported by TechWorld, Halo NetSec covers security needs for services from infrastructure providers, such as Amazon Web Services or Rackspace. Administrators can set up defense parameters without having access to an actual network.
