Hirsch promotes Elliott to director of government programs

Hirsch Electronics announced it is expanding its resources for the U.S. and international government markets by promoting Scott Elliott, formerly eastern district manager, to the newly created position of director of government sales.

Elliott will team with Hirsch’s Government Program Group and its director, Lars Suneborn. Elliott and the Hirsch Government Program Group will continue to develop client security plans and interface with standards bodies and industry associations. Additionally, Elliott will also manage third-party, channel and key contractor engagements for government-related projects. [end]

Hirsch Electronics, a business unit of Identive Group Inc. announced that Lars Suneborn, director of the Government Program Group for Hirsch, will lead the RTCA (Radio Technical Commission for Aeronautics) Subcommittee SC 224 effort to update the RTCA DO230 Integrated Security System Standard for Airport Access Control.
