The solution is based on Personal Identity Verification and PIV-Interoperable digital credentials, augments existing physical access control systems, as well as products ActivIdentity’s subsidiary CoreStreet and Veridt.

The solution is rooted in Certipath, a credentialing authority, which was able to form a product that includes the rules of HSPD-12 and FIPS 201.

The products, already utilized by Federal government employees, are said to efficiently manage logical and physical identity verification and access control. The technology is now looking to expand service to the education sector as well as the biopharmaceutical and health care industries.
