Advance Bank of Asia in Cambodia receives advanced authentication solution
Gemalto is providing its Ezio Pocket Reader to customers of Advance Bank of Asia (ABA) in Cambodia.
The solution targets online banking and e-commerce vulnerability and security needs.The Ezio Pocket Reader features two-factor authentication with One-Time-Passwords preventing the customer from typing their information on workstation computers.
The ABA will also be the first bank in the country to offer an EMV card-based authentication solution with the Ezio Pocket Reader. Customers will have to insert their EMV card into the Pocket Reader and generate a one-time-password to verify the cardholder.
Gemalto’s solution will provide AMA with Europay, MasterCard, Visa and EMV credit cards for internet banking. ![[end]](/resources/bullet/secureidnews-4.gif)
