Partnership between ACI, Bell ID picks up first big account

Friday, April 30, 2010

A financial institution in North America responding to market demands and growing technology has become the first customer to pick up ANDiS4EMV solutions for their financial security networks.

This first new account in the partnership between ACI Worldwide and Bell ID has prompted a worldwide market for Bell ID’s suite of products in the smart card solution arena.

The ANDiS4EMV solution for EMV card management has been selected to issue chip-based smart payment cards, and manage the life-cycle of its card base using PINs, payment applications and cryptographic keys.

The fully customized cards will manage risk and threat levels and enable banks to respond quickly to changing customer needs, staying one step ahead of outsourced card management systems. A new feature will also allow the financial institution to extend the service with deployment of the payment applications on Near Field Communication (NFC)-enabled mobile phones. [end]
