FIME's testing services and laboratories receive GlobalPlatform certification

Friday, July 8, 2011

FIME has announced that its smart device and chip-based application testing facility has achieved GlobalPlatform qualified status.

This certification extends to FIME’s tools and laboratory and allows it to test cards’ compliance to GlobalPlatform’s UICC configurations for the mobile sector.

Stephanie El Rhomri, new services marketing manager at FIME says this qualification is part of FIME’s plan to develop and expand its test tool and lab capabilities. It plans to offer these services in the identity, mobile and payment sectors.

The GlobalPlatform association’s compliance program is designed for companies to create and qualify testing tools to confirm card compliance to its Card Specification v2.2 market configurations. [end]
