HID buys EasyLobby

HID Global announced the acquisition of EasyLobby, a provider of secure visitor management solutions.

EasyLobby’s product suite provides enterprise-class visitor registration, tracking, reporting, badge printing, asset and package management, Web-based pre-registration and employee/contractor time and attendance functionality.


It is also integrated with a variety of access control, human resources and other systems.

EasyLobby products complement and extend HID Global’s portfolio, and have been deployed across a diverse base that is aligned with HID Global’s physical access control customer base. [end] 

LEGIC Identsystems Ltd expanded its partner network in Southern Europe with the announcement of a joint venture with Spain-based security company Softmachine Systems.

The new affiliation aims to produce contactless access control solutions and installations for multifunctional visitor management including applications for electronic payment and time and attendance.

In an effort to sell and/or license part of its patent portfolio, Massachusetts-based Aware Inc. has signed an agreement to sell some of its patents and patent applications to Intel Corporation for $75 million.
