Tired of finding strange cats lounging about your living room, or the occasional raccoon in the liquor cabinet, all because your backdoor cat flap is a relic from the 20th century? A British firm has the solution.
Cambridge Resonant Technologies has announced that its licensee SureFlap has launched the first product to include its OnTune technology. SureFlap is a battery powered cat flap with a built in high performance RFID reader. The reader learns the unique ID code of a standard microchip implant inserted by vets to help find lost animals, allowing access to the owner’s pets only.
