Collis has announced that its test center at the company’s head office in Leiden, Holland has been accredited by MasterCard Worldwide to provide Card Personalization Validation (CPV) and Terminal Integration Process (TIP & M-TIP) services.
According to Collis, the MasterCard CPV, M-TIP and PayPass TIP services are designed to test whether card and terminal products carrying MasterCard brands or accepting MasterCard branded M/Chip & PayPass cards, meet MasterCard’s quality and interoperability requirements. MasterCard mandates issuers and acquirers introducing a new or modified card or terminal to apply for the CPV or TIP Formal Approval Services in order to detect pre-issuance problems and reduce time-to-market.
Collis has also developed a new EMV Personalization Validation Tool (PVT), which has been qualified by MasterCard for CPV by the issuer in preparation of the formal CPV service. The test tool incorporates the Collis Card Simulator – also qualified by MasterCard – and supports an acquirer in Contact TIP Validation and Contact NIV Validation.
The services are now available to customers at Collis’ Leiden office, plus five additional Collis offices worldwide in the U.S., Singapore, United Arab Emirates, UK and Finland.
