Certified Payment Processing (CPP) recently unveiled their new line of payment processing terminals, under the brand name Proxima.
Proxima is offers support for future payment processing technologies, with the ability to handle mobile wallet payments, contactless and EMV smart cards. It also features a full-color display, high-speed Ethernet or dial-up connectivity and backlit keypad.
Currently, there are two Proxima models available–the Proxima X5 and X2, with a wireless version due to be released later this year. Both versions offer enhanced security, including an encrypted internal PIN pad, protecting the financial data of the merchant as well as the customer.
The terminal is also password protected for the administrator, making it safer in a multi-user environment by limiting voids or returns by unauthorized individuals. Receipts are customizable, and the terminals provide a variety of detailed reporting options.
