The RFID reader/writer provides for the reading of tags in nearly any orientation and its hardware/software scheme enables the RFID reader to support future tags and protocols via software upgrade. The handheld operates under the Microsoft Windows CE .NET 4.2 OS, running on an Intel XScale processor and reads most ISO 14443A, ISO 14443B and ISO 15693 tags.
