The U.S. GSA Office of Governmentwide Policy will be hosting an industry day on Aug. 7 to get information and answer industry’s questions from the Federal Cloud Credential Exchange (FCCX) Tiger Team.
The team is a group from several agencies that are moving more government services online. It facilitates the Federal government’s adoption of identity solutions that ensure secure, private and efficient transactions.
The group was created earlier this year and has worked on the use cases and requirements necessary to operate an identity federation capability that’s compatible with a government agency web app that supports and uses a variety of digital credentials.
The government hopes to use commercially available cloud service providers in order to meet its objectives, and to understand how best to implement such a service, they’re hosting the industry day.
The event will take place from 9 a.m to 12:30 p.m. EST at GSA Office of Governmentwide Policy, 1275 First Street NE, Room 1201B, Washington D.C..
