HID Global’s Seos credentials and Mobile Access technology is an integral part of the advanced user experience at a new office complex in Warsaw. Skanska, a construction group with operations in Europe and North America, chose to incorporate the solution for secure access to its latest office complex. The goal is to improve convenience and increase security throughout the entire facility – including the parking lot, elevators, floors, common areas and offices.
In one application, we have integrated all building applications, such as parking, virtual reception and other Internet of Things functionality.
The new 70,000 square-meter office building will serve as the headquarters for Skanska itself, but will also house other commercial tenants. Because the building is intended to be a mixed-tenant space, it was crucial to restrict access to secure areas from unauthorized visitors. This is accomplished as employees use their smartphones to open doors and enter secure areas.
Skanska, with help from system integrator Sharry Europe, integrated numerous building applications including HID Mobile Access. All were incorporated into a single mobile app, to improve the user experience.
“HID Mobile Access enhances the security for accessing our entire building. In one application, we have integrated all building applications, such as parking, virtual reception and other Internet of Things functionality, bringing the whole user experience to a new level,” said Renata Nowakowska, Innovation Manager at Skanska.
