HJP Consulting is launching the GT Prove IS test tool product at the Cartes & Identification 2008 exhibition in Paris. The GT Prove IS is a tool used to prove the conformity of extended access control electronic passport inspection systems with the ICAO and EU requirements.
The test cases are implemented according to BSI TR-03105-5. This case covers all tests for e-passports and the related inspection systems at border control points for both basic access control and EAC e-passport applications. Proving conformity with only one BSI TR-03105 test standard can now ensure interoperability of e-passports and inspection systems.
As part of the GlobalTester product family, the GT Prove IS comes with the EAC passport simulator, which has been developed in cooperation with the German Federal Office for Information Security (BSI). BSI and HJP successfully tested the EAC passport simulator at the EAC Conformity and Interoperability Test Event in Prague in September.
The necessary ISO 14443-test hardware simulation is provided by COMPRION. The CLT One product has been certified by CETECOM test laboratory according to ICAO and BSI test standards TR-3105-2. HJP Consulting and COMPRION have established a long-term partnership in the area of test tools in the eID space.
