Welcome to the new SecureIDNews.com
You may be looking around and noticing some different things: new furniture drapes and floors. We have spruced the place up a bit and made some really great changes.
But seriously, welcome to the new SecureIDNews.com.
We have combined many of our targeted sites into this one all encompassing location. We are confident that it will become your one-stop-shop for all high-tech identity news — be it smart cards, biometrics, digital identity, mobile, etc.
Along with the redesign and consolidation, our editorial coverage is changing as well. With this new model we will explore the topics in greater depth offering readers more information per post and greater insight as to why the subject may be important to them.
You can review our content by market or by technology using the top navigation bars or follow all the news on homepage feed.
Take a look around and let me know what you think.

Becoming greater than the sum of the parts
The identity and security markets have changed radically since AVISIAN launched its first publications more than a decade ago.
Over the years, an array of new technologies came to fruition and we added pubs to cover them — ContactlessNews, RFIDNews, NFCNews and ThirdFactor.
As new markets emerged, we created the go-to resource for each — GovernmentIDNews, FinancialIDNews, EnterpriseIDNews and HealthIDNews.
As our efforts grew so too did the industry. Today, the identity and security industry has matured and so have the buyers and decision makers that rely on our publications for guidance.
More than ever before, they seek information on solutions rather than specific technologies or markets. Yesterday they asked, “What card technology or biometric modality is trending this year?” Today they ask, “What solutions can effectively secure my physical and virtual environments and authenticate users?”
Recognizing this change, we made the tough decision to merge more than ten of our unique publications into a single, solution-focused site for identity and security insight.
Welcome to the new SecureIDNews. I hope you enjoy your stay and make us a regular stopover.
