Onondaga Community College in Syracuse, N.Y. has selected The CBORD Group for its off campus commerce program powered by CBORD’s UGryd system.
The new added service for students will open the institutions on-campus discretionary account to many local off-campus merchants including CVS, Byrne Dairy, Wings, Pizza Hut and Dominoes.
Using the UGryd system, OCC can offer convenience to students, increase safety through decreasing the requirement to carry cash for small transactions, and tighten the relationship between the local community and the college, said The CBORD Group.
The two-year institution has been a CBORD client since 2008, utilizing CBORD’s CS Gold campus card system for dining, bookstore, access control, laundry and campus vending needs.
