Chinese producer DAILY RFID launched a new palm-sized HF wireless RFID reader.
The DL990 enables read and write to 13.56MHz high frequency tags (ISO 14443A/B or ISO15693), transferring data via Bluetooth connection and eliminating the need for a wired connection between the RFID reader and the central database.
It works with WinCE 5.0 or Windows Mobile5.0/6.0 based smart phones or PDAs. Using mobile document and spreadsheet editors, data can be automatically updated and viewed in real-time.
The DL990’s battery life allows users to continuously read tags up to 6,000 times on a single charge.
