Europe-based Sokymat Automotive has launched two new additions to its line of industrial application RFID tags. The new Slim Tag is intended to enable warehouse logistic management, and the Waste Bin Tag is, as the name suggests, aimed at waste management applications.
The Slim Tag is designed for managing logistics in large warehouse environments, including pallet, vehicle and container tracking, tool identification and process control. The Waste Bin Tag tracks waste containers, including automatic measurement of the weight of the waste in the container, enabling better efficiency and control in the collection of waste.
The introduction of these new transponders reflects the expansion of Sokymat Automotive’s product range beyond low frequency tags operating between 120 kHz and 140 kHz and high frequency transponders operating at 13.56MHz. Both the Slim Tag and the Waste Bin Tag are UHF and are available with industry standard EPC Class 1 Gen 2 chips, as well as featuring robust casings for enhanced durability.
