Two Florida airports join Global Entry program

Orlando International and Sanford-Orlando International airports have joined the U.S. Customs and Border Protection’s Global Entry program, according to an Orlando Business Journal article. Purpose of the Global entry program is to speed up entry of foreign travelers into the U.S. via fingerprint biometrics. So far, the program has roughly 20,000 enrolled in the program allowing them to enter the country via automated kiosks that check their identification credentials against their biometric sample.
