The key is in separating a person’s identity from their permissions. CoreStreet removes identity from the equation and uses Real Time Credentials–digitally signed proofs–embedded with information for validating and authorizing certain activities and access permissions.

These proofs can be transferred in preset intervals in any number of ways, including on a smart card. Since proofs do not contain critical identity information, they eliminate the need for a secure connection back to a central authority for every permission request. As a result, they can be inexpensively placed anywhere security is needed.
