Annual Event Recognizes Outstanding Digital Identity Management Deployments Worldwide

The IDDY Award (IDentity Deployment of the Year) was established to recognize the Liberty Alliance-based deployments that are currently delivering significant and quantifiable identity management value to businesses, governments, citizens and consumers around the world. The call for 2006 IDDY Award nominations ends on Monday, August 21 with winners to be announced on September 13 at Digital Identity World in Santa Clara, CA.

Judges for the Liberty Alliance IDDY Award include technology, policy and identity management experts from within and outside of Liberty's global membership base. Submissions are evaluated based on criteria that include the benefits deployments are delivering to organizations, consumers and citizens; the ROI the application is demonstrating; and how the solution may successfully address key identity issues such as reducing identity theft, helping to meet regulatory requirements or providing consumers with increased privacy protection.
