Next U.S. Government Smart Card Project Managers meeting Jan. 13

The influential Federal Smart Card Project Managers Group will meet again on Thursday January 13 at 9:30-Noon in Washington D.C. The group is key to cross-agency efforts related to identity management, smart cards, and credentialing. For anyone involved in these issues at the U.S. government level, these meetings are a “must.”


The meeting location is:

American Institute of Architects (AIA) Building 1725 New York Avenue NW in the BOARD ROOM (2nd floor) Washington DC 20006 (202 626-7300).

Topics include progress related to HSPD 12, Personal Identity Verification (PIV) of Federal Employees, FIPS 201 and Special Publication 800-73.

Additionally, the Government Smart Card Interagency Advisory Board (IAB) and its Smart Card Architecture and Technical work groups will meet from 1:00 to 4:00 PM following the Project Managers meeting.
