Scottish school using vein scanning biometrics in cafeteria

A school in Paisley, Scotland has announced that it is the first to utilize vein scanning biometrics rather than money in their cafeteria. Fujitsu Ltd.'s scanner reads vein position, the number of veins, and other details that are translated into an algorithm to confirm identity. Click here for the full story.
