OmniPerception partners with BAE on research

OmniPerception, a developer of biometric services and solutions, has partnered with security technology developer BAE Systems to research new developments in biometric technology, according to a Security Park article. The research project comes out of BAE’s program that helps small- and medium-sized companies in the development of new security technologies called Investment in Innovation.
BAE created the Investment in Innovation program in hopes of helping drive the biometrics industry to more innovative solutions. Officials from OmniPerception agree with the intent of the program citing that advances that they are working toward are much more attainable with access to the resources of a company like BAE.
