McDonald’s working on mobile Facebook app

McDonald’s and Tribal DDB of Chicago are building a Facebook app that will allow users to update their status by “checking in” at the fast food chain, according to Advertising Age.
McDonald’s will be the first marketer to take advantage of this new geolocation service.
This may even lead to McDonald’s using RFID tags to let customers check in to receive free menu items, says Advertising Age.
