GAO launches new contactless reader module

GAO Embedded has released a new contactless reader module developed for access control, contactless payment, and product authentication and anti-counterfeiting.
The module, model 713010, consists of a 9.6 to 38.4 kbps UART (TTL) host interface, four general purpose I/O ports and an intuitive API. Used with an external antenna, it boasts a read range of 8 to 14 cm, depending on the specific application.
Operating at 13.56 MHz, the module complies with FCC 15.225, EN 300-330, EN 301-489 and EN 61000-4-3 standards, and is compatible with ISO 15693 and ISO 14443A/B RFID tags.
According to GAO, the device is compact and easy to integrate in size, consumes little power and is compatible with numerous types of contactless tags.
