Transaction Network Services (TNS) has expanded its TNSPay solution to accept contactless payments, as well as provide additional services.
Currently used in the UK and Ireland, TNSPay (formerly CommsXL) is a multi-channel payment gateway service that enables merchants to process EMV Chip and PIN, eCommerce, mail and telephone orders, and now contactless transactions.
The revamped solution now features Payment Application Data Security Standard (PA DSS) validation for the point of sale payment client, acquired by TNS in January. According to the company, the fully managed service allows merchants to reduce the amount of card data in their environment, helping them achieve PCI DSS compliance.
TNS has also added its Card-Not-Present (CNP) solution to TNSPay, which already provides secure payment processing for over 30,000 merchants around the world.
