Northrop contracted to continue work with DOD

Northrop Grumman has announce a follow-on task order to continue its work with the Automated Biometric Identification System (ABIS) for the U.S. Department of Defense (DoD), according to a UPI article.
The new contract, which is valued at $141 million, has Northrop for a one year providing systems engineering, software development, infrastructure, performance engineering, modeling and simulation with four optional additional years.
Northrop has been working with the DOD on the ABIS since its initial development contract in 2006.
