The Singapore government launched eGov2015, a new plan to develop new government services and delivery channels online. The plan incorporates a mobile site that serves as a central home for public sector mobile apps, as well as a portal for data sharing.
Along with these products, the government is actively trying to improve information and idea exchange by enhancing its Reach (Reaching Everyone for Active Citizenry @ Home) online feedback platform and utilizing crowdsourcing, according to ZDNet Asia.
The government also plans to streamline or eliminate governmental transactions. Part of this streamlining will involve issuing businesses singular online identities for government interactions.
In the second half of 2012, the government will release OneInBox, an e-correspondence inbox for governmental communication with citizens. It will also revamp the current eCitizen portal and build a private cloud called the Central G-Cloud to replace the Shine infrastructure.
