TagMaster ships orders for student, asset security at University of Sabah, Borneo
TagMaster has received additional orders for its RFID-based technologies to support the expansion of a student and computer tracking system installed at University of Sabah, Borneo.
This order is for an additional 2,400 units of TagMaster’s Samui and Edam RFID tags along with extension of the school’s network of Celebes RFID readers, as the university extends additional functionalities within the campus.
TagMaster’s Samui and Edam RFID tags work at ranges up to 60 meters together with the multiple tag handling capabilities of TagMaster’s Celebes RFID readers, to further enable the university’s requirements for monitoring student distribution across the campus, reduce loss of valuable assets and monitor attendance.
The initial TagMaster deployment was completed in May 2012, with the expansion slated for deployment between October and November 2012.
