LEGIC has announced the company’s latest offerings leading into Cartes 2012, developed to enable multiple applications using NFC phones, credit cards or smart cards.
In terms of flexibility and interoperability, LEGIC’s card-in-card solutions enable users to choose their own data carrier no matter whether storing information on a mobile or on a credit card. The CTC4096 transponder chip, for example, is capable of controlling several radio frequency standards and works in mixed read infrastructures.
Then there’s the SM-4500 reader module, with it the LEGIC advant 4000 series that can read third-party transponder chips, such as the full MIFARE family.
SMART Technologies presented its new LEGIC PC/SC reader multiplex, with support for access control, time & attendance or cashless payment. It is able to access the proprietary file system of LEGIC advant and LEGIC prime without any further effort if using the unique ID according to PCSC 2.01.
Closing out the deal, LEGIC will also welcome the newest Chinese partner into its network, CiVinTec Global Co., Ltd. a manufacturer of reader modules, readers and terminals and exports to over 90 countries.
