Situated in Holland, Michigan, the Herrick District Library will be utilizing 3M RFID technology to manage its circulation of nearly 1.2 million items per year.
The library technology provided by 3M RFID will support newly installed self-checkout kiosks, while also providing the Herrick District with an enhanced security its more than 245,000 items.
Only thirty miles to the north and serving almost 116,000 patrons is the Muskegon Area District Library. They, too, have selected 3M RFID to handle its circulation, which exceeds more than 400,000 items per year.
Muskegon, like the Herrick District, will utilize 3M’s integrated staff work stations that integrate directly into their library management system, dubbed Innovative Interfaces Millennium.
