ACG RFID reader receives MIFARE certification from Arsenal Research

ACG’s new read/write reader has received MIFARE certification from Austria-based Arsenal Research, an independent certification institute, which guarantees the company full interoperability of any combination of certified cards and readers within any application. ACG’s product portfolio also includes certified MIFARE cards.
Walluf, Germany – ACG Identification Technologies GmbH, a leading component and technology supplier in the RFID and smart card markets, announced that it has received official MIFARE certification for its new HF Dual ISO RFID Read/Write Reader from the independent MIFARE certification institute Arsenal Research, located in Vienna (Austria).
ACG is one of the few RFID hardware manufacturers worldwide who received the Arsenal Research certification for its MIFARE reader. This enables the company to offer a reader which has been independently verified to meet all specifications postulated by MIFARE.
Providing demonstrated conformance to the ISO IEC 14443A standard, Arsenal Research certified MIFARE cards and readers offer RFID system integrators and users full confidence of finding the needed product in today’s incredibly vast and complex RFID offering. The Arsenal Research certification guarantees full interoperability of any combination of certified cards and readers within any application. ACG’s product portfolio includes Arsenal Research certified MIFARE cards as well.
This certification from Arsenal Research marks yet another milestone in the development of ACG readers, and for the new HF Dual ISO RFID Reader in particular. ACG’s HF Dual ISO RFID Reader has participated in several official interoperability tests, conducted by ICAO (International Civil Aviation Organization) to test the interoperability of future electronic passport deployments. Its full ISO 14443 A and B compatibility combined with its high data transfer rate and the flexible, extensively tested firmware has enabled ACG’s HF Dual ISO Reader to demonstrate outstanding results, assuring that the upcoming electronic travel documents will be read quickly and accurately every time.
