Another UK retailer to trial contactless payments

UK pharmacy chain Boots will begin piloting contactless payments in 15 of its London and six Liverpool stores. Teaming with MasterCard and RBS WorldPay, the trial will kick off in the second half of this year.
As acquirers, RBS Worldpay will work with Boots to develop and implement the system in the stores. Customers making payments of under U.S. $15 will only have to tap their MasterCard PayPass cards against contactless terminals.
