ASSA ABLOY’s Angelo Faenza discusses university locking systems
Angelo Faenza, general manager of Persona, part of the ASSA ABLOY Group, gave an in-depth presentation of its university locking systems during an interview posted at SecurityStockwatch.com. While explaining the benefits of its programmable key cards that enable access to buildings, Faenza also discusses the company’s success story at Quinnipiac University, a 32 building and 11 residence halls complex in Hamden, Conn.
Quinnipiac conducted a trial of the locks in a single, newly constructed residence hall. The locks performed so well and the students liked them so much that the school decided to complete a major overhaul of the entire campus residence hall locking system, said Faenza.
