This platform supports many of Athena’s products, including digital signature (SSCD) applications based on the IAS-ECC specifications issued by GIXEL and conforming to the European Citizen Card standard. It also supports PKI apps based on Athena’s LASER and IDProtect Client middleware, as well as digital signature and authentication that meets the Brazilian government’s standards.
The smart card can be used for national ID, digital signatures, eGov, ePassports, transportation, secure elements and contact or contactless payment solutions.
