The multimedia system, called THE TOUCH X9613, is an all-in-one combining a PC, television, audio system and Blu-ray/DVD player which utilizes a touch-screen for control and operates off of a Windows 7 operating system.
AuthenTec will be providing their AES2550 TruePrint fingerprint sensor and TrueSuite identity management software to enable the multimedia system to remember a digital identity that includes user profiles and favorites for a specific user. MEDION decided to go with AuthenTec for additional capabilities for THE TOUCH X9613 so that they could make the entertainment provided by their device more personalized.
