Bank of America is gearing up to test its new Mobile Wallet payment service with select BlackBerry users, according to BoyGeniusReport.
The service will be made available only Visa or MasterCard account holders using specific BlackBarry models, including the Curve 8520 or 8530, the Bold 9000, 9650 or 9700, and the Tour 9630. Bank of America will send participants a microSD card that enables low-value contactless payment at the point of sale, as well as a new battery cover.
Payments will be accepted at any MasterCard PayPass location. Bank of America says the trial will begin very shortly this spring.
