Biometrics conference scheduled for late September

The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) and the National Security Agency (NSA) are sponsoring a biometrics conference called the Biometrics Consortium Conference to be held over two and a half days in Florida in the second half of September.
Some of the major speakers planned for the conference include Zackary Lemnios, chief technology officer for the Department of Defense; John McConnell, former director for National Intelligence and Louise Grever, executive assistant director for the Science and Technology Branch of the FBI. Aside from Government uses for biometric technology, the conference will also cover issues regarding biometrics in health care and education, standards, cyber security and international uses.
